Hardie does Yoga

Build strength, ease stress, and reconnect with yourself through accessible yoga and mindful movement guided by Neil Hardiman.

A neatly rolled slate-gray yoga mat with a finely textured surface lies diagonally across light oak studio flooring, the mat’s edges perfectly aligned and its material appearing dense yet invitingly soft. Beside it, a cork yoga block and a neatly coiled natural cotton strap rest in precise arrangement, suggesting a professional practice. Soft morning light pours through an unseen window, casting long, gentle shadows and a warm glow across the floor. The background falls into a subtle blur of neutral-toned walls and a single leafy plant. Photographic realism with a clean, modern aesthetic, shot at a slightly elevated angle using a shallow depth of field, creating a calm, focused, and professional atmosphere suited for a yoga and mindful movement brand.
A minimalist yoga studio corner featuring an unrolled deep sea-blue mat stretched smoothly over pale bamboo flooring, its subtle grain visible in crisp detail. At the top of the mat, a small stack of cork blocks and a folded organic cotton blanket form a tidy arrangement. Along the wall, a narrow wooden shelf holds a single ceramic bowl and an incense holder with a thin wisp of smoke drifting upward. Soft, diffused daylight filters through sheer curtains, creating a serene, even illumination with gentle shadows. Captured at eye level with balanced composition and full sharpness, the photographic image exudes a professional, tranquil atmosphere, emphasizing focus, alignment, and mindful practice without clutter or distraction.

Yoga that meets you

I offer compassionate, down‑to‑earth classes that honour every body, blending alignment, breath, and mindfulness to support everyday life on and off the mat.

My yoga journey began unexpectedly in 2017 when I accidentally walked into a yoga class at my local gym, thinking it was something completely different. That chance encounter sparked a passion that has transformed my life.

Yoga has helped me cultivate stillness, stay grounded and focused, recover from sports injuries, and find greater balance both on and off the mat. In 2022, I travelled to Bali to begin my yoga teacher training, deepening my practice and understanding of this ancient discipline.

My classes blend mindful movement, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork), creating a space where students can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. I believe yoga should be creative, playful, and accessible, with room for curiosity and self-expression alongside tradition.

One of the greatest gifts yoga has given me is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. It is a continuous journey of learning, discovery, and community, and I look forward to sharing that journey with you.

Offerings

A polished, stainless steel water bottle with a matte white finish stands upright at the edge of a charcoal yoga mat, tiny condensation droplets visible on its surface. The mat rests on smooth concrete flooring with faint, organic imperfections that add texture. In the mid-ground, a neatly folded gray towel and a pair of cork yoga blocks are positioned in a precise line, suggesting readiness for a structured session. Soft overhead studio lighting combines with subtle natural sidelighting from an unseen window, producing clean highlights and delicate shadows. Photographic realism, shot from a low, slightly angled perspective, with a shallow depth of field that blurs the distant wall and a single potted plant, creating a calm yet energizing, professional pre-class atmosphere.

Slow-flow yoga classes focusing on breath, joint mobility, and gentle strength to leave you centred and refreshed. My styles include –

Hatha Yoga
A slower-paced practice focusing on fundamental postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Hatha yoga provides an excellent foundation for beginners, helping students develop strength, flexibility, and confidence while learning safe alignment.

Vinyasa Yoga
A flowing, dynamic style of yoga where movement is synchronised with the breath. Classes move smoothly from one posture to the next, creating a moving meditation that builds strength, flexibility, and focus.

Power Yoga
An energetic, fitness-based style inspired by Ashtanga yoga. Power Yoga builds core strength, stamina, and cardiovascular endurance through a series of dynamic postures. Classes are fast-paced and creative, without following a fixed sequence.

Yin Yoga
A gentle, floor-based practice in which postures are held for longer periods, typically three to five minutes. Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues and fascia, helping to improve flexibility, increase mobility, and encourage deep relaxation.

Restorative Yoga
A deeply nourishing and calming practice designed to soothe the nervous system. Using props for complete support, poses are held comfortably for extended periods, allowing the body and mind to fully relax and restore.

An overhead, bird’s-eye view of a carefully arranged yoga sequence layout on a warm wooden floor: a moss-green mat centered precisely, with a cork block at each side and a neatly looped strap forming a gentle circle near the top. Along one edge of the frame, an open, unmarked notebook and a fine black pen rest parallel to the mat, implying class planning and mindful intention. Soft, indirect daylight from the left creates a smooth gradient of light across the scene, with barely-there shadows lending depth. The photographic composition is symmetrical and orderly, with sharp focus throughout, conveying a sense of professionalism, clarity, and calm organization befitting a yoga teacher preparing for mindful movement classes.

I am a qualified yoga teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance. I studied at Loka Yoga School in Bali as a residential student, and in 2025 when on a yoga retreat to the Himalayas and spent time in an ashram in India.

Events

A serene vignette of a yoga and mindfulness reading nook: a low, natural wood bench supports a small stack of well-kept, unbranded wellness and anatomy books, with a pair of reading glasses folded neatly on top. On the floor in front of the bench, a folded linen meditation cushion in soft taupe sits on a sand-colored woven rug. A single green plant in a matte ceramic pot adds life at the frame’s edge. Late afternoon light filters in from the right, creating warm highlights, gentle shadows, and a tranquil, contemplative mood. Photographic realism with a clean, professional aesthetic, captured at a slightly elevated angle with moderate depth of field, emphasizing texture and calm focus, ideal for a yoga education or resources page.

Retreats

A close-up, side-on photographic view of a stack of three cork yoga blocks aligned perfectly on a smooth, pale wood floor, each block’s natural speckled texture clearly visible. Behind them, slightly out of focus, a neatly folded navy bolster and a rolled cream-colored blanket rest against a matte white wall, suggesting restorative yoga and mindful movement. Soft, diffused window light from the left gently wraps around the props, creating subtle highlights and soft-edged shadows. The composition follows the rule of thirds, with a shallow depth of field isolating the blocks as the primary subject. The mood is calm, precise, and professional, emphasizing high-quality equipment and a thoughtfully curated practice space for serious yoga students.

Workshops

An alignment‑focused workshop exploring foundational postures, safe transitions, and modifications so you feel confident joining any group class.
